Armatures Pass or Fail?

Hello Emily, 

I am having difficult testing some armatures. I would be testing an armature that passed & if I were to rotate the armature, sometimes it would fail.

Do you know why this happens?

Thanks for your email,

There are types of armatures tested on different fixture in one armaure tester with different fixtures,

There is a positioning mark on each of the armature tester fixture, that is the testing machine touching pin position,

Please make sure the armature commutator bar is in the middle of that positioning mark by your obervation,

In this way the armature with  many commutator bars like 42 commutator bars will be in the proper position for testing,
